I always hang a 'Thomas Kinkade' wall calendar in my kitchen. I also keep a smaller one on my desk... a month at a glance. I don't care for calendars that have to be turned every day. My hair salon gives purse calendars out too.

I keep, a printed plain calender at my desk here at home, a Marilyn Monroe calender on my wall, printed Carol Burnett calender on my door, and a Lindsay Lohan calender in beside my desk. I'm a calender person LOL

Every year I have had an I Love Lucy calender up on my wall. It's been like that since I was 11 years old and I don't plan on changing it anytime soon.

I get a Cat wall calander every year,and a spiritual wall calander also. I also get a calander/dateminder for home and office every year.

My calendar usually features whatever my favorite celebrity/show is at the time.

This year, it's going to be a Ryan Cabrera calendar.

If I find a Smallville calendar though, I'm going to have them both up.

I like the Dani (Freddie calenders) they're my favorite and I usually get the dog calenders.

Comics and cartoons. Right now I have the Powerpuff Girls (I don't want next year's though because I don't like the look of it), and Garfield. I've had Garfield calendars since the 80s. It's tradition.

I also have a Jeff Gordon calendar, but I never hung it up.

I know at drugstores like CVS, Walgreens, Brookes, etc, you can customize your own calendar with whatever pictures you give them. People have calendars made up with their kids or other family pictures.

I guess they could make one with Mary Ann, Joyce DeWitt or whoever.

For the past several years I've just been getting cat calendars. Wall ones. I did have Hanson ones in '98 and '99 and for years fans wanted them to make a new one. Well, they finally made a new one for 2006 but it costs flippin' $25!!! I love Hanson, but I'm still not paying 25 bucks for a calendar. I really do want it and I hope they reduce the price after christmas or the new year because from what I hear it's pretty cool!

You know, when I was a kid, it used to REALLY annoy me that calendars started the week at Sunday and ended it at Saturday. I mean, as a kid, that just did not make any sense! Saturday and Sunday were called the weekend, but Sunday was at the BEGINNING of the week? What's that all about?

Now, it doesn't bother me as much, although I'm still not quite sure I see the sense in it. The only reason it makes any sense to me is the fact that they've always been that way and I'm just so used to it that it doesn't make a difference anymore.

...although, I still think a calendar where MONDAY starts the week off would be nice.

I looooooooooooooove the "Have a Day" wall calendars. LOOOOOOOOOOOVE them. I haven't gotten one since the 2002 edition, though. I like the 2006 edition so I hope to have that soon too. I had a Brady Bunch calendar for 2002 and 2003. In 2004, I had a Trading Spaces calendar. This year, I haven't had any, really. I got one of these gigantic desk calendars where you can write in the events happening that day. It's the kind pharmacists have...I had one in '04 and I have one again this year and will get one for 2006...I DON'T want to write on the calendars I DO buy. I want them to stay nice and pretty, so before I tack up my gigantic desktop calendar, I fill in as many birthdays and events as I can for the year. Then I add on to that calendar as time progresses.

I have never really stuck with a particular calendar...I had a JTT calendar all three years that he made 'em...1997, 1998 and 1999. I still have them. My sis got a kitten calendar for 1996 that I still have. Funny story...I was too lazy to take down my Trading Spaces calendar so it was stuck to December 2004 until about a month ago, when I finally took it down. :lol:

I hate those things; they drive me nuts. At work they pass out a wall calendar of this style every year. This "media" calendar (I work in advertising) drives most of us in the finance department bonkers. :crazy:

Anyway...

At the office I have a desk calendar where you turn the page each day. I also have a deadline calendar each month and a full-year calendar, each tacked up on my bulletin board.

At home I have a wall calendar. 2005 is sunrises and sunsets from various locations across the USA. My 2006 calendar is scenic spots throughout California.

I usually have a wall calendar of scenic photos or space photos; and once in a blue moon I go the astrology route.

My parents usually buy me a calendar for Christmas every year. Right now I've got a Harry Potter calendar w/ pictures from POA. I'll prob. get a GOF one this year (though I wouldn't mind Clay!! hehe).

I would also get a Metallica one or one for Dream Theater, a band I have loved for 11 years and am a bit obsessed with.

This year, I've had a Puppy-A-Day, but alot of times I get a dachshund calendar. For 2006, I got a Far Side one for the kitchen, and 2 dachshund calendars for my bedroom. Had to get 2, they both were so cute plus they were less than $5 each at Wal-mart!! I also got a 2006 I Love Lucy date book.

I love glossy wall calendars of my favorite celebrities and TV shows. I have a South Park one right now. :D

i dont care what the calendar looks like .. just has long the dates are right lol that be cool.. But i like calendars with animals on them or something pretty..

I like hommeade, and Spiritual calandars the best. Right now I have three. One is a Catholic calandar that I got from a friend. It lists a bunch of Saints, important dates in Catholic history, etc. I also have a St Jude Children's Hospital one, which was made by the Children of St. Jude, as well as a hommeade one that my aunt makes for me every year. She puts pictures of the family for each month.

Every year we get a calender from National Arbor Day Foundation and the calendars feature endangered species. I love these calendars, there's some gorgeous animals on it :)

As I love to travel, I usually purchase calendars that feature exotic, beautiful destinations. I just bought a 2006 calendar about Australia! :)

I have had a Charmed calendar up for 2004 and 2005. For 2006 I want a Raven one.
