I loved Fame when I was little and it'd come on NBC Saturday nights at 7, and I did enjoy the reruns I saw on WGN a decade ago, but those were mostly the syndicated episodes. I know that hour long shows seem to age differently than sitcoms, while I haven't seen Gimme A Break in ages, I have a feeling I'll still like it, with Fame, I am a little more apprehensive about checking the DVD out. For those who haven't watched the show in ages and got the DVD, how has it held up to you?

Well, there's a positive review (http://www.classictvhits.com/promotions/reviews/review_details.php?id=676) of the dvd set that I totally agree with. I think this guy hit it on the mark on how well the show has held up.

Interesting, this is currently in backorder status on sonystyle.com (http://www.sonypictures.com/sonystyle/redirect.php?http://www.sonystyle.com/cthe?ProductSKU=MGMV12426DVD). I hope this means they've sold out 5 billion copies and we'll assured of a season 2 release. You think?

I have all ready watched the first two episode of season 1 Fame. I was transported back to when I was a teen in 80's. I said to myself I love Fame just as and more then I did back then. I see how I got so addicted to Fame the TV show. I'm getting addicted to Fame the TV show all over again. I can't weight to get the whole Fame TV series and all the Fame specials on DVD. As well as all the music from Fame the TV show on CD.
