I was sick all weekend, but there was an episode that showed a tag scene that I hadn't seen since the first run of Good Times. I wish I could remember which episode it was right now.

I know retro, stupid huh? but I just remembered which episode it was. The Xmas episode where the cousin is an alcoholic. I can't ever recall that tag scene other than during the first run. I was shocked!

I thought that Tag scene was very nice. It was nice seeing them all together on Christmas without James snaping on J.J, and J.J insulting Thelma

Yeah, I liked it alot. I was shocked when I had seen the tag scene cuz I hadn't seen it since when the show first aired the very first time. It was one time like you said, where there was no arguing or yelling or anybody snapping anybody's head off. Very nice episode, aside from the fact that the cousin was an alcoholic.

What I keep wondering, is when I first saw GT on it's first run, did I never notice or catch the fact that they rehashed actors to play different characters. Like this episode with the actor who normally plays Alderman Davis, is playing an uncle. It's obvious now of course, because we seen the show over and over again.

I loved this episode, all except for the tag scene. It just felt like it wasn't finished. And just a quick mention of Naomi seemed like they just brushed it off.

This is one of my favorite episodes. But it would have been nice if they would have gotten a phone call from uncle oscar or Naomi telling everyone what had happened to her when she got home.
