View Full Version : A Guy from My School Got Killed
Karen* 11-28-2005, 01:44 AM A bunch of my friends on MySpace sent out bulletins saying that this guy from my school who graduated last year got shot and killed this weekend. I know MySpace isn't the most reliable source, but then again, why would people lie about something like this?
I'm speechless and sad...I don't even know what to say. This is horrible. I didn't know the guy, but I really feel for his family and for his friends too, because I'm friends with some of his friends...To think that something like this could happen to someone near to me...This is a shock. He seemed like such a good kid.
I'll post more details when I get them.
RIP Joel Orille. You will be dearly missed. :rip: :crying:
Hollow 11-28-2005, 02:08 AM :( tragic deaths suck, especially upon someone so young. since my friend died earlier this year i've been kind of nervous to go to school in the morning sometimes because i get the feeling that i'm going to find out someone else was killed. i can't really help it, it was unbelievably sudden, and i learned from it that you can NEVER know whether you or anyone else will live to see tomorrow.

Daly City Teenager Killed In SF Street Fight
POSTED: 2:06 pm PST November 27, 2005
UPDATED: 2:11 pm PST November 27, 2005
SAN FRANCISCO -- A Daly City man was fatally stabbed early Sunday in a large fight near the Ocean View Recreation Center, authorities said.
The San Francisco Medical Examiner's office has identified the dead man as Joel Orille, 18.
Orille, a Daly City resident, was apparently stabbed during a fight involving 10 to 20 people that broke out on Minerva Street at Plymouth Avenue, near the Ocean View Recreation Center around 1 a.m.
It was unclear, said police, whether he took part in the fight, or was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Orille was pronounced dead at the scene some time after he was stabbed.
An officer received minor injuries while chasing at least two suspects, according to police. That chase started as a vehicle chase but continued on foot.
Several people were taken into custody in connection with the incident, but whether and with what they will be charged is not yet known.
