Guys,
I'll make this thread for all of you so that you DVD owners can list any scenes that are included on episodes of the DVD that have been cut by TV Land or syndication.
Jack
PS. I don't have the disk yet. Some are reporting problems with the playback of the "It's A Small World"-Unaired pilot. So I will be waiting for about 3-4 weeks to make sure that the bugs are out of the disks before purchasing.

I preordered the Lunch Box edition from Amazon and just received it. It's fine -- no problems whatsoever.
In the "Water, Anyone?" episode the short telephone conversation between Tooey's mom and Ward has been restored. This is the conversation where Tooey's mom tells Ward Beaver's little enterprise is the sort of thing that leads to "juvenile deliquency and ... and ... communism!"

I got my Season 2 DVD yesterday! I wish I could remember more from Season 1 to start doing a restored scene list. (I have both seasons.) TV Land is on Season 2 now, so it will be easy to watch TV Land's version if you have the DVD and do a side by side comparison.
It seems that TV Land does cut out a lot in the beginning of episodes. I had just seen "Beaver's Poem" on DVD/TV Land and TV Land cuts out the beginnnnig scene of Ward/June doing dishes and talking about going out to a movie. TV Land starts out with the second scene of Beaver doing his "pow, pow!" noises in his bedroom while Wally's trying to do his homework. There is also a longer Beaver and Larry marble trading scene on the DVD.
Oh man, is "Ward's Problem" chopped up on TV Land! That's the one where he has to decide whether to take Wally fishing or go with Beaver to the father-son school picnic. The whole scene of the class doing the "Pledge of Allegence" is cut, and some great kids lines as well:
Judy: "Ms. Landers, while we were pledging allegence to the flag, Beaver was looking out the window! That's not very patriotic!"
Ms. Landers: "Beaver, you're supposed to look at the flag, you know that."
Beaver: "Oh, but I was looking at the flag outside on the pole!" hahaha!
Ms. Landers: "Well Beaver, next time look at this flag."
Whitey (Raising his hand)
Ms. Landers: "Yes Whitey?"
Whitey: "Ms Landers, if we ever do the Pledge of Allegence outside, should we look at the flag INSIDE, or the one on the pole?
Ms. Landers: "We'll talk about that some other time."
(Then she talks about the picnic, and what the kids have to do. and answers some questions.) TV Land picks up here with only a few questions than cuts away. and you miss a classic Judy/Charles line:
Judy: "Ms. Landers? Charles has been raising his hand for the last half hour."
Ms. Landers: "I realize that, Charles, I said there would be no more questions about the picnic."
Charles: "I know Ms. Landers, I just wanted to know if I could be excused to get sick, and I wanted to tell you before it was too late!" hahahaha!!!

I'm noticing all kinds of scenes that were chopped, etc. In "Happy Weekend", when the boys are wrestling around in bed at the cabin. Never saw that before! Christian
