Anchor Bay and Carsey/Werner kept to their word.... season 2 is definately uncut, each episode is around 23:30 compared to under 22 minutes for season 1.

Season 2 also has the original "Roseanne BARR" credits and not just that, but it has the uncut opening credits (which ran 30 seconds longer and was slightly different) that Nick At Nite never airs. I think AB has redeemed itself, and now that we know season 3 is around the corner as well, we're getting our wishes.

Also, What is the disc layout?

I posted it Thursday at ClassicTVHits.com.

Disc layout? similar to the way season 1 was packaged, in the two thinpack cases holding two to a disc. The discs are red again, similar to season 1.

There are plenty of extras but I think I liked the season 1 extras better, because Roseanne actually took part that season. There aren't any episode introductions or anything this time by her, but you do see a very brief featurette on the Season 1 Bowling reunion party. You do get two interviews with John Goodman (different from the season one) and one with Michael Fishman, but the Fishman interview is annoying because he spends the entire interview kissing up to his former co-stars (you can really tell that he wants Sara Gilbert to get him a part on Twins or John Goodman to put him in one of his movies).

I picked up my copy of season 2 yesterday after work!!! So far, I've watched disc one. I keep alternating between Full House and Roseanne season 2. I couldn't decide WHICH to buy first. I decided to buy both since it's been ten months since I've bought any TV DVDs. I felt like splurging a little.

Very nice to see uncut episodes!!! I love it! :D

Any news on a re-release of season 1 with actual uncut episodes?

I'm glad cut episodes stayed just to season 1. I would like season 1 to be reissued with the uncut episodes, but IMO, season 1 is probably the worst season of the show tied with season 7, so it's perfectly okay that season is cut as long as 2-9 are uncut

How come that some covers of the series 2 DVD do not have the blue circle in the corner telling you that the episodes are unedited on the front cover and yet some covers do have it?.

the blue circle is only on the plastic wrap
