How did Taxi jump the shark during it's run? I think it did when John Burns left the show...he was a sweet, smart guy who should have stayed.

It wasn't on the air long enough to jump(5 years). Most shows start jumping in there 6-8th season when they seem to loose steam and start coming up with repetative or stupid plotlines.
