And then Furley Faints and then after that Furlery askes Max is Jack realy dead? And Max says-" Yeah what a shame because I wanted to kill him myself"-LOL=-LOL And then Furley Faints again. This maybe my favorite ep of the entire series

It's one of my favorites, too. Season 5 episodes are some of the funniest, i.e. Case of the Missing Blonde, Night of the Ropers, Jack's Twin, etc.

That funniest part in "Dying to Meet You" was when the Fly landed on Jack' nose and Mr. Furley smack the sh*t out of Jack with the Flowers-LOL-LOL

This was one of my favorite episodes of the total series myself. My favorite part was when Jack sneezed, and Max asked who was it. Larry and Furley blamed it on one another. Then Max had that "You can't fool me look" and said "there's something wrong here, and I ain't leaving until I make sure he's dead." That was a funny scene. LOL

I used to find that episode funny, be not anymore. Especially in the ending tag scene where their all discussing about Jack being in the coffin. I almost started crying:( .

I can understand but u r supposed to see it as Jack Tripper in the Coffin not John Ritter. I mean it would be hard to watch that ep the month he died but not now.

It kind of gets to me too, sometimes.
But I don't think John would've wanted us to think of it that way.

i agree! He would probably want us just to remember that he had fun and that we should be able to laugh at his humor. ^_^

Exactly, watch that ep for laughs. Now it may have been a little hard to watch he had laid in a casket on a episode of 8 Simple Rules. But the fact that this season 5 ep was 25 years ago I usually don;t think about the passing of John, i just enjoy the episode

I understand what your saying, but it's still hard for me to watch that episode. Think of how it must make Stella seeing her Father in that episode. Than again, maybe her Mother doesn't let her see that one.

Um, I don't think that anyone says,' Bless you'. I think the way the scene went was that Max had said,' Where ever you are Jack, I'm sorry'. Than Jack said,' That's OK'. It was than that Jack shutted the lid on the coffin really fast.

Oh yeah, that's right...my mistake. I was thinking of another show with a similar episode. Gosh, that scene is funny.... I also love it when the coffin locks and they go off to the Reagle Beagle forgeting to help Jack get out... so funny. And you are right.... it does bring back the fact that he has passed away and it does feel weird watching it.

This episode is in my top 10 favorite episodes of the series. It's my second favorite episode in season 5 (my favorite being "Double Trouble"). I agree, no matter how many times I see Furley smack Jack with the flowers, I can't stop laughing!! To me, that's the funniest part of the episode.
