A motorist drove away after hitting three pedestrians in Montreal North early Tuesday morning, critically injuring one of them.
The woman who was critically injured suffered serious head trauma and is in the hospital. The two other pedestrians were not seriously injured and their lives are not in danger.
The accident occured at the corner of Henri-Bourassa Blvd. and St. Vital St.
The driver that struck the three has not been found, but the car involved in the accident was located nearby. It was a green Honda. It's presumed that the driver abandoned the car and fled on foot.
The license plate on the vehicle matched the one given to police by witnesses to the accident. It also had a broken windshield.
