Hello,
I have encountered a few people lately that insist on using cheap dvds. They feel there is no difference so why pay more for a name brand. I disagree. Just for fun. List what you feel are the best and worst dvds you have used or have received in trade.

Best - Sony, Maxell

Worst - Imation, Memorex

Imation can kiss off. I could take a TDK 8x disc and my recorder would take it just fine. I got an Imation 8x disc and my recorder wouldn't record on it at all. Never again.

Other than that, I've had good luck with Memorex, Verbatim, Philips (better than their recorders), and TDK.

Dynex can be found very cheap, and are made by Sony. They have'nt given me any problems. BenQ are also cheap, and great.
