When you were a kid do you remember if you had an imangnary friend?

When I was like, 3, I had an imaginery friend named Smiley or something for a little bit, but that was only cause my cousin had an imaginery friend and I wanted to be like her :p

No I never had an imaginary friend. I had brothers and sisters. No need of one. I always had siblings to play with!:happyface

Actually, for someone going what I'm going into, the ability to create entire characters with personalities, quirks, backstories, the works - seemingly on the fly, and occasionally situations to put them in - are GREAT qualities to have (Well, at least if you're going into writing, or if you need to kill time fast on-air)

I had a whole imaginary family. They were: DeeDee Man, DeeDee Woman, DeeDee Boy, DeeDee Girl, and DeeDee dog. :crazy:

My imaginary friends names were: Rock & Roll Man, Cool Guy, Rock & Roll Baby, Cool Baby, and Salmon Bob.

Of course! I just don't remember their names, when they left they didn't left a msg. :lol:

Exactly :) I've always done that and it really helped me develop my writing.

Yeah, my best friend had one and I, being the little follower, had to make one up too. Her name was Amanda and she had short brown hair in a half up pony tail, pink shirt, blue overalls eteteetctevetc. That was when I was about 8.

A few years later Ben O'Niell wasn't so much an imaginary friend as he was just this little character I got into every once in awhile. He was Irish and could travel from Ireland to here in the One Minute to Get There One Minute to Get There Back Plane. He did the Irish jig and had a French friend named Charlotte, an Italian friend named Ramona, a Swiss or Dutch or something friend named Lars and an Indian friend named Little Bird or something who fell off a cliff. Then he moved here and I made an imaginary house for him next to this house near mine. When I graduated from sixth grade and we had that little procession thing, my friend's mom shouted "GO BEN O'NIELL" when I picked up my little reward thing. Yes, he had made his mark. And as for me? I had made my mark as a complete *********. I was a weird kid...

I pretended to be a ninja and fought other imaginary ninjas, so I guess I only had imaginary enemies. :eek:

I know, isn't it pathetic how I remember the names of all my old imaginary friends?? :lol: I guess when you don't have many real friends, your imaginary ones leave quite an impression on you.

You know what's ever more pathetic. My imaginary friends caused me an injury. I about 3 and I was running between the front door and the kitchen, because I was letting the DeeDee family in the house one at a time. Well when I got to DeeDee Girl I sort of ran into the front door and cut my head really badly. I still have the scar. After that I didn't like them quite as much :lol:

I had a whole neighborhood of people...there's no way I could remember everyone! I had tons of Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars, so one day I decided to buy some of those little plastic model houses and make a town. I painted a piece of wood like a neighborhood and had the houses and the cars and my imaginary neighborhood lived there. I even gave the houses addresses. :lol:

Yes I had an imaginary friend...up until my sister murdered him. I'm serious, stop laughing!!!!! She pushed him infront of a truck driving by and he was killed. I"m still mad at her for that! :lol:
