for carrying the t.v. thru the projects and then having it taken away?? Did he really think he could carry the t.v. thru the ghetto and make it to the pawn shop or whatever?

But the point I am making is he should have known he would get robbed of the tv...therefore, now the family doesn't have a t.v. and no $$$$ either from the pawnshop. They were better off keeping the t.v. and trying another way to get the rent. Why didn't Flo go to the welfare office and get a subsidy? James was dead now, they would have given it to her to cover the rent.

He took that chance to walk down to the pawn shop, he didn't know that he was going to get robbed. When James had that fixit thing going, they didn't get robbed while carrying other people belongings back and forth. They needed the money, you don't just sit there and wait to get put out of your house. JJ took the chance to take the TV down to the pawn shop and unfortunately he was robbed.

When James did that fix it stuff, it was the tenants' in the same building, not people outside the projects; James couldn't take that chance. So moving appliances and tv's within the building is ok, but taking a tv outside to a different location, that was dumb.

But hey - James was MUCH bigger & MUCH tougher than JJ. I, personally wouldn't mess w/ James but I would mess w/ JJ!

It was never stated by JJ if he was mugged outside the building or inside, he didn't get too far with the tv. When you need money you just don't sit on your ass waiting for someone to come along and bring you money. If they had to pawn the TV to get rent money then that's what they had to do. I don't think it was dumb of JJ to take the tv down to the pawn shop. But he should've had someone go along with him, he should've went alone. Now going alone was dumb

It was good that the TV was stolen because the way J.J falsely advertised the TV over the phone, the pawn shop wouldn't have taken it anyway.
Can't believe J.J said it was a HIGH DEFINITION TV on the Phone with Color you never seen before-lol

See, that's another reason it was stupid...he wouldn't get hardly anything for the damn thing, so was it worth it to try and get it to the pawn shop only to have it stolen???? He wasted his time doing that when Flo could have gone to the welfare office or something else could have been done.
