The 50's were the early days of television and will be remembered for some fine original programing and many great variety programs.

To me 3 great comedians emerged in these way back when days, they being Jackie Gleason, Red Skelton and Sid Caesar. All were masters of mime, characterization and were downright funny. Caesar's was a live show each saturday night for one and half hours and wasn't easy to do. Like Gleason he surrounded himself with a great cast, that being Carl Reiner, Imogene Coca and Howard Morris. In 1981 there was a special entitled "ten from the show of shows", featuring ten memorable skits. Sit back and watch the comic genius of this man. The parody of "this is your life" is worth the price of admission. Funny, funny, funny.

Rules are simple as they didn't change. I have a number in mind from 1-500 and have shared it with Miss Savage, who has been sworn to secrecy. Post your guess on the site, be the closest and you too will be able to laugh. 2nd prize is some exclusive photos of Savage and Wolfie on their honeymoon romp in Tahiti last month. The photos will be sent in a brown paper bag with no writing on it.

These photos are soon to be a collector's item. They are being hawked on Ebay for up to $3.000 a set. One fellow just touched them and his fingers were scorched. As we speak Hugh Hefner is in serious negotations for a special holiday edition. Just think, a January pictoral entitled, "hot moderator babes from the internet" Dragonbear has ordered 325 copies as a starter.
Move over Jolie, you got competition.

For those on a budget, the photos are already posted at ModerateThis.com & can be viewed for a nominal membership fee. And they don't have "Scanned for Ebay" in the interesting parts.

Well, as they say, you snooze, you lose.
