I was watching "Raw" today, I saw a commercial for Playstation 2 game entitled "Ratchet Deadlocked" where they used the theme song to "The Golden Girls".:eek: That commercial was hilarious. It was the scene where a guy wanted a cat to get out of the tree from the top of the limb, he says "Meow!" and then the cat meowed and then the two robots are shooting the tree with a laser beam, just the the lumberjack chops down the tree and fell down and hit the car when the alarm sounds and then, a cat jumps out of the tree and catch them until one of the robots gave the cat back to a guy and said to them "Thanks guys!". That was in a commercial where "The Golden Girls" theme song was played in the background. That commercial was funny.

The first time I saw this commercial, I had the television on and when the theme song came on, I thought to myself "I didn't think I was watching the Lifetime Network". Then I turned to look at the television and saw that it was a commercial for a video game! :lol:

Well, the theme song to GG, is actually a song that came out in the 70's by Andrew Gold. So, I am sure the commercial advertisers liked the words to the song, as opposed to the fact that it had been used as a theme for a show.
