What is your all-time favorite episode of Step by Step and why?

It's been a while since I have seen this show, but I rember some good episodes:

- The very first episode

- Steve Urkel's appearance

- The Rules of the House episode

- The episode when the cameramen came to the house and started filming the entire family

- The Family Cookout competition

- The Halloween episode where Mark got in trouble with the law

- The Christmas episode where Frank and Carol are in Jail with Barney Fife

- The Two-Part Hawaii episode

- The episode where Cody thinks Dana is going to get attacked by a man and she doesn't believe him until it actually happens

- The episode where Dana and Cody get locked in a porta-potty

- The two-part Disney World episode

- The episode where Carol bans movies, TV, and all sorts of entertainment- just food, clothing, and shelter

- The episode where Karen hurts a boy's feelings due to a popularity rating system at school.

- The Modeling episode where Carol keeps telling everyone about Karen "She's 15!"

Those are the only ones I remember well.

All those are great! Here are some more:
-the one where Rich & JT go 2 Mexico & get locked in Jail-Dana gets thown in Jail too.
-the Disney one 1 is my fave episode-I luv WDW! :)
The one w/Frank's western dream & everytime they say Jean-Luc, that funny music plays. & Lilly laughing was funny.

I love the one where Cody gets higher SAT scores than Dana. And then she gets all hysterical. And my other favorite is when Karen is using Patrick Duffy's clothes and he sets an alarm on his closet. Too funny!!

It wasn't a porta potty, it was a magic box. *I think that's the episode....* Cody was trying to do some magic trick and he and Dana got locked in a box. Then Cody had his cell phone in there the whole time so they were really stuck in there for no reason...


My favorite ones are-

-The 2 part Disney ones *which I think are supposed to be on tomorrow*
-the one when Dana & Cody get stuck in the box/and Al and JT forget Lilly at the commercial place and take the wrong baby home
-The 1st episode
-most season 6 & 7 episodes with Rich
-The one when Cody comes back after being gone for a while
-The Halloween one when Sam & JT breack up *which was just on today*
-When JT & Rich & Dana get stuck in the Mexican jail
-The Rich parts in the episode when he gives chain letters to the family
-The 2 part Hawaii episodes
-the first episode with Cody

I basically like most of the episodes in the show... but as you can tell I like the Rich or Cody episodes the most.

I love them all!!!

But my 3 favorites are:

When Cody returns
When Lilly's born
When Cody & Dana are trapped in the magic box

I think the best one was where Karen ends up doing the right thing and going out with a shy kid at the dance. It really was well written and made her a complete character, and it was very touching.

-When JT & Rich & Dana get stuck in the Mexican jail


I know this is off-topic, but sounds like something off Family Matters...

I haven't seen all the episodes but I really liked the two-part Hawaii episode, the one where Cody writes a 40s mystery based on Karen's missing diary, and the one where Cody saves Dana from all the crazy biker guys at the bar.

These are the best in my opininon, but it doesn't mean others are worse at all.

I don't have a favorite Episode because I like them all. I am a big fan of the Sitcom. It is a very funny Sitcom and one of my favorites. :D

I liked all the episodes :) :) :)

My faves are:

the one where Dana and Rich get together
Almost all of Season 7 (Rich is too damn funny!)
an early one where the Lamberts and Fosters compete in family games
the one where cody saves dana in the bus station and kicks the soda machine
the one with dana and "mike the mover"

...and many more I can't think of right now. I have to wait till ABC family gets through another run. (and I can get my tapes to watch!)

Here are some of mine

Cody writes the 40s style mystery and Carol makes a Three's company reference.
The Disney episodes.
Al goes to a college party with Karen and Dana.
Rich and Dana falling in love.
Dana acts crazy after coming back from the dentist that Cody can't even stand her.
Al does the lotion commercial.
Al gets a movie role as a waitress.

mine are:

-when JT and Rich were fighting and Dana was trying to help them resolve their issues and finally she lost it.

Any ep w/ Rich. He made Dana more tolerable and they were pretty cute. The top three are the one where they get together, the one when he chases her to Harvard, and the one where Dana and Carol make the family eat healthy crap. Rich rubbing donuts on his face was too much.

And don't forget Dana at the end of the episode, when she shoves the whole chocolate donut in her mouth and tried to hide it. Her facial expressions were hysterical. :lol:

I have a lot, but some of my absolute favorites are when Dana and Rich first get together, when they sing "I Got You Babe", and when Carol and Dana made the family eat healthy. (I like the last few years best).

When Urkel made a guest appearance in 1991. I was 9 years old, and confused as hell as to why he was on the show. It was a great episode.

I know right?! I've been watching reruns over the years so i've managed to some how tape/dvr all of the episodes... good thing I did that!

I post in here before, but i've been watching a lot of the episodes again and I really like My Bodyguard. It's really a great episode. Also Prom Night is good and Back to School is as well.

I like the one where Frank is being forced by Carol to go to Church even though there is a big football game on. He sneaks into the attic of the Church and then falls through the floor or something. That was really funny.

A lot of the season 2 episodes were some of the best. I didn't like the episodes as much after Cody left.

Yeah that is a good one. I don't think it's as good after Cody left either, but I really like Season 6, mainly cause of Rich and Dana being together and JT and Sam. I like them together, so I enjoy those episodes. Jean-Luc is funny too, but not as good as Cody.

My most favorite episodes that I can remember are when Dana makes Cody and J.T. think that she was a real alien, when Cody saved Dana from being attacked, when Al is given the modeling job that Karen tried to get, when Cody dates a girl who is already a mom, when J.T. and Dana end up dancing with each other at their senior prom, when Cody teaches Mark how to defend himself after getting kicked out of karate class for not being tough enough...there are a lot of other episodes that I loved, but there are some that I wish that I could see again. That guy that was shown a little bit after Cody was written out, everyone called the guy "Flash", I wish that we could have seen more of him. :) :) :)
