"Green Ice" (prod. #9725-Pt. 1) first aired @ 7:30 p.m. (EDT) on ABC as the 53rd episode of Batman.
The controversial Otto Preminger (the series' second Mr. Freeze) had a problem to solve before appearing on this show: he owed $11,000 in back dues to the Screen Actor's Guild! Preminger's attitude made him the most despised man on the set; he treated women lewdly and kept irritating the other cast members. Eli Wallach replaced Preminger after the producers decided not to bring him back!
Speaking of irritating, how many times could Preminger say "Wild!" in a single episode?! Quite a few, apparently... Notice that Mr. Freeze is now wearing a freeze collar instead of a helmet. Also notice also that now Mr. Freeze only has a freeze gun. In the first season his gun could also fire heat/flame beams which would have been rather useful against The Dynamic Duo here.
Director George Waggner (many Batman shows credit him as "george waGGner") directed Lon Chaney Jr. as Larry Talbot, The Wolf Man in The Wolf Man (Universal, 1941). Dee Hartford (Miss Iceland) is the sister of Eden Hartford who at the time was the wife of Groucho Marx.
We learn here that Mayor Lindseed's wife is named Linda, but in a third-season segment he apparently divorced her and remarried, because he then had a wife named Millie!
Here is yet another Bat-episode to feature a character other than Bruce Wayne to dress as Batman. Others to feature pseudo-Batmen are Episode #8707-Pt. 1, "Instant Freeze," #8711-Pt. 2, "When the Rat's Away the Mice Will Play," #9705-Pt. 2, "Walk the Straight and Narrow," and #9747-Pt. 2, "The Joker's Epitaph."

"Deep Freeze" (prod. #9725-Pt. 2) first aired @ 7:30 p.m. (EDT) on ABC as the 54th episode of Batman.
Charles O'Donnell (TV Newsman) later went on to find his niche as the announcer for a great many game shows, including Wheel Of Fortune.

"How To Hatch A Dinosaur" (prod. #1705-Pt. 2) first aired @ 7:30 p.m. (EDT) on ABC as the 103rd episode of Batman.
The Neosaurus costume was hand-me-down wardrobe from the January 11, 1967 "The Questing Beast" episode of Lost In Space (CBS, 1965-68), which aired on CBS Wednesday nights opposite Batman from January 1966 to August 1967. Since Twentieth Century-Fox TV was involved with both productions, many of the sound effects heard on Batman are the same as Irwin Allen's science fiction adventure.
