HOTEL HAWAII (aka Sylvan in Paradise) it was a 30 minute pilot that aired 8/2/1986 starring JIM NABORS and Ann Wedgeworth. A Love Boat ripoff about a Hawaiian resort run by Nabors. The show made it in the top 10 for the week but was not picked up.

That's back when they were burning off unsold pilots as summer filler. A lot of odd stuff made it to air during the late '80s and early '90s that way. It's odd when you consider we have a lot more outlets for scripted television today vs. the late '80s, and so many more pilots are made each year, and how few of them actually ever air.
