Add some cursing and a little sex and nudity it would have fit in perfect behind Sex and the City. I found it kind of odd that Peter Krause got hired for Six Feet Under just for the fact that there was talk Sports Night would go to HBO.

Because Comedy Central has it!

At the time, ABC announced the cancellation too late for HBO to pick up the show. TNT was interested, but Sorkin wanted either to do only 13 episodes or not to be the showrunner anymore so he could focus on the west wing. At the end, Thomas Schlamme and Aaron Sorkin decided to end the show. :(
