Whoops, I thought Golden Girls S3 was out this week. I noticed I selected the GG Intimate Portrait from the list. I wasn't planning on getting it, but I've been thinking about it and I just might. :)
dandelion wine 11-10-2005, 11:14 AM Three's Company and Fantasy Island.

Fantasy Island: The Complete First Season
The Golden Girls: Lifetime Intimate Portrait Series
After Christmas:
Friends: The One With All Ten Seasons Box
The Flintstones: The Complete Fourth Season

Johnny S 11-10-2005, 06:58 PM Friends: Season 10 (most anticipated release for me ever), That '70s Show: Season 3, & Tru Calling: Season 2.
Maybe eventually Charmed, Scrubs, and Three's Company.
I'd be getting the Buffy collection, but I just recently got my Season Sets so it'd be quite a waste.
slackermonkey 11-10-2005, 11:30 PM Cheers: The Complete Seventh Season
Frasier: The Complete Seventh Season
Friends: The Complete Tenth Season
Scrubs: The Complete Second Season
Unfortunately, I can only afford three, and seeing as "Friends" and "Scrubs" are must-haves and I haven't seen any of "Frasier"'s seventh season, "Cheers" will have to wait until probably next month.
Johnny S 11-10-2005, 11:35 PM "Three's Company" comes out next week??? Huh... yesterday I saw it at Cinema 4. (I don't know if this store is in America)
slackermonkey 11-10-2005, 11:55 PM From your post I assume you're not American, so it's probably already available where you are but not yet available in the US.

I definitely want HUCKLEBERRY HOUND, Vol. 1, when I can afford it. Probably
YOGI BEAR, Vol. 1, too, eventually.
dawsongirl 11-11-2005, 04:22 PM Fantasy Island, Huckleberry Hound, and Yogi Bear (which I want more for the Snagglepuss cartoons than Yogi). Hopefully I'll get them for Christmas.
Johnny S 11-11-2005, 06:30 PM From your post I assume you're not American, so it's probably already available where you are but not yet available in the US.
I am Canadian. (Which is still Region 1 for DVD's)
bossradio93 11-12-2005, 03:38 AM The Flintstones: The Complete Fourth Season
Huckleberry Hound: Volume 1
The Yogi Bear Show: The Complete Series
YES!
YES!
YES!
This will be one of the best weeks yet!!! In time for Christmas!!!!!
All ten seasons of "Friends"? Love to get it all, but the price is a bit steep. One day I'll get it though.
robby76 11-12-2005, 04:47 AM Three's COmpany (the last season I will buy) and Fantasy "Da plane" Island!
TV DVD Fan 11-12-2005, 10:54 AM Three's Company- Season Five (eventually, Christmas or after)
Cheers- Season Seven (again, Christmas or after)
Frasier- Season Seven (ditto)
The Golden Girls: Lifetime Intimate Portrait Series (once more, Christmas or after)
As we all know, Christmas and the other holidays we celebrate is just around the corner, so all the money I earn up until Christmas goes straight towards presents for my family.
Another title that I missed on the poll that I want is The Flintstones- Season Four.
Pat
vashti1999 11-14-2005, 12:35 AM I failed to include the HBO show P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy, Season 1 on this week's list. Anyone who wants it can give it write-in vote.

Stargate: Atlantis (Season 1)

JoshB80 11-15-2005, 01:44 PM Fantasy Island Season 1 and Three's Company Season 5 definitely.
vashti1999 11-15-2005, 02:29 PM I'm so ********* pissed right now. I went to Target on my lunch break expecting to buy Three's Company season 5, they didn't have it. Go to Circuit City, they didn't have it. Go to Fye, they didn't have it. I contemplated checking Walmart, which is the furthest away from my job, but by that time I was so angry I didn't bother.
Maybe I'll try again later.

You'd think they would have a big title like "Three's Company."
I know the feeling. There are times when I look everywhere for a DVD and can't find it. Today, I couldn't find "Cheers: Season 7", "Flinstones: Season 4", and "King of the Hill: Season 5."
I bought "Three's Company: Season 5", "Friends: Season 10" and "That 70's Show: Season 3."
vashti1999 11-16-2005, 01:01 AM You'd think they would have a big title like "Three's Company."
I did. I didn't even pay attention to the sales circulars this weekend because I thought it was a given they'd have Three's Comp. Either none of these stores decided to stock it or they're all supplied by the same distribution company and they all never got shipments. (The stores I mentioned are pretty much right next to each other). I don't know. I just gave up and ordered it online. I hope to get it by Friday.

I actually saw the Flintstones, Yogi Bear and Huckleberry Hound when I was in Circuit City. I was surprised by the last two, I really didn't expect to see those. Sometimes I get a feel for what shows will be in certain stores on released day and what shows you'll have to search around for. Depends on the store and the show. Sometimes you luck out.
robyrob 11-16-2005, 01:14 AM i was at Walmart, I HAD 1st & Ten in my hands... but for some reason I put it back and got TAXI 3rd season instead.
Oh, and they did NOT have Fantasy Island, but they had PLENTY of copies of Three's Company S5
Chelsea 11-16-2005, 03:09 AM Buy.
Buy Scrubs.
Buy Scrubs Now.
Scrubs should sell.
Sell Scrubs, Sell!

I don't even see where they stock the new TV-DVD's now at my Target because under the "new releases" section, they have all these dumb DVD's that most people don't give a flying **** about. Lame. So I've been buying from Suncoast a lot lately. It's just as well because their sale prices the week new DVD's come out are the same as Target's anyway.
That said, I saw Cheers S7 there and got it. I wasn't in the store long enough to see what other sets there were.
robyrob 11-16-2005, 09:39 AM i find it pretty amazing how much our buying choices are affected by what the stores are deciding to put on the shelves on release day ...and keep on the shelves afterwards - I mean if the show that you came there to get is not in stock, you don't want to leave empty handed, so half the time you will just get something else that you either would've gotten eventually, or just find something else to settle on.
I would've gotten Fantasy Island - but it wasn't in stock, my next choice would've been SOAP S4 (yeah, I know - i should already HAVE it :cuss: but it STILL wasn't in stock ) and so I settled for TAXI S3 - which I wanted anyways, but was planning to see if I could find it for cheaper later.
Adamantium 11-16-2005, 07:22 PM "King of the Hill: Season 5."
I was wrong. That doesn't come out until next week. That explains that.

Our Walmart is sick. I wanted to get TC season 3 but they didn't have any TC DVD's not even season 5. I went next door to Borders to look and even they didn't have it although they did have season 5 which is probably $10 more than it would be at Walmart. I picked up The A-Team season 1 because I couldn't go home empty handed.
dirrtycruz 11-20-2005, 10:32 PM I love Buffy Complete Collection's Set, Tru Calling Season 2, and That 70s Show Season 3. These are all great shows that I love. The bonus features included on the DVD are excellent!!!
robyrob 11-24-2005, 03:25 PM i was at Walmart, I HAD 1st & Ten in my hands... but for some reason I put it back and got TAXI 3rd season instead.

Mr. Television 11-24-2005, 04:31 PM i went back and got it today :)
I didn't even see it at our Walmart.
Dean Winchester 11-24-2005, 05:58 PM I've gotten Buffy (the box set is definately worth having), Charmed, Oprah and Three's Company, should get Tru Calling from Fox SOMETIME and Golden Girls Intimate Portrait (but I have season 3, which is better anyways)
