Geez, that woman was a FREAK. I missed it damn it... please give us the details. I saw last week but not this week. OMG, i thought it was on at eight, it's on now, I am watching it Ireneparalegal 11-10-2005, 02:18 AM Ok, that lady needs a head transplant...she is too freaky, too outrageous and gives God loving people a bad name. she says, "this is God's country" like God is only going to love her part of the country. unlike her, God makes no judgements. McFly121 11-10-2005, 02:32 AM I don't know about the rest of the men here, but I'm in love. ;) Ireneparalegal 11-10-2005, 02:52 AM I don't know about the rest of the men here, but I'm in love. ;)      Brent88 11-10-2005, 02:53 AM From her hometown paper: http://www.hammondstar.com/articles/2005/11/09/top_stories/news06.txt I feel like this woman is a total embarrassment to the state of Louisiana and the city of Ponchatoula. I could not believe that she actually acted like she did. As your article read that she "Marguerite" has become a national celebrity of sorts, I think she has become the national embarrassment of the state of Louisiana and the City of Ponchatoula. What are people thinking about now? Boy if that is how the people of Louisiana and or Ponchatoula especially. I sure do not want to visit that town. I really would like to know what religion this women belongs to. I could not agree more... Oh and "GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE IN JESUS NAME I PRAY" is my Thanksgiving phrase this year. Stupid relatives. Brent88 11-10-2005, 02:54 AM I don't know about the rest of the men here, but I'm in love. ;) Uh... no. If I had been that taxi driver from the airport, I would have dropped her off somewhere. She was freaking yelling at him. Ireneparalegal 11-10-2005, 03:08 PM Uh... no. If I had been that taxi driver from the airport, I would have dropped her off somewhere. She was freaking yelling at him. no kidding huh? Man, even her husband and kids didn't seem glad to have her back after her tirade started. Her husband mouthed something and it was bleeped. What i find so damn funny is in the first episode, the husband said he had never had sex until he met his wife. She was his first. hmmmm, not so christian like is she???? Brent88 11-10-2005, 04:26 PM What i find so damn funny is in the first episode, the husband said he had never had sex until he met his wife. She was his first. hmmmm, not so christian like is she???? Why oh why did the husband pick HER of all the women on this planet?  Ireneparalegal 11-10-2005, 04:30 PM Why oh why did the husband pick HER of all the women on this planet?  :wallbang   :cuckoo so funny Brent. btw, the husband said in the first episode when he was saying that abt her being his first, he said words to the effect of "she was the one I ended up having sex with first, not that I didn't try with the other girls" something like that. I was shocked that a man would even say things like that on television abt his wife. I am no angel in the bedroom, but what is done in the bedroom, should stay there, not for the whole world to hear. especially imagining THAT WOMAN. The Chauffeur 11-10-2005, 04:49 PM Dang it! I missed it! I wanted to watch it too!:( vashti1999 11-10-2005, 04:58 PM She was great. I'd love for her to get her own reality series and put her in different situations. She'd entertain me much more than Paris and Nicole. "GARGOYLES!!! PSYCHICS!!! SHE IS NOT A CHRISTIAAAAAAAAAAANNNNN!!!!" I loved it. felicitylen 11-10-2005, 05:12 PM "GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE IN JESUS NAME I PRAY" is my Thanksgiving phrase this year. Not just Thanksgiving, but Christmas, New Years and just about anytime someone doesn't want to leave. Marguerite was crazy. She was truly ignorant. She made the other family do what she wanted, but when the guy tried to explain something about what his family believed it, she wouldn't listen. She was completely rude. If we think about, she's not the only person like that. There are tons of people who are just like her. I felt sorry for her youngest daughter Brooke because her mom and sister were always telling her what to do. MarineWife 11-10-2005, 06:08 PM I just found this site today and have been thinking about this show since last week when this woman was first shown! OMG, being from Louisiana I kept thinking.. WHY do people always find Freaks from there to portray us? UGH. I do not live in Louisiana since my husband is Active duty military, but will be going home for Thanksgiving and when I pass through Ponchatoula (which is an hour from my home), I am gonna Watch for her. That poor little Brooke! Can you IMAGINE her embarrassment!?!? Heck, all of them! The mom has prob had her burn the watch/necklace that she got! UGH.. Crazy.. CRAZY woman!!!!!! Brent88 11-10-2005, 08:12 PM I've seen several posts from people who live in the town on other boards and they say she blows up at people in the grocery store! If you as much as try to make conversation with her she starts ranting and raving about this and that. The family is well-known(not for her :p ), but apparently because the husband makes a lot of money. The kindergarten in the town is NAMED AFTER THEM!!! Brent88 11-10-2005, 08:13 PM :wallbang   :cuckoo so funny Brent. btw, the husband said in the first episode when he was saying that abt her being his first, he said words to the effect of "she was the one I ended up having sex with first, not that I didn't try with the other girls" something like that. I'm kicking myself for missing this! Brent88 11-11-2005, 02:50 AM http://www.livejournal.com/community/ohnotheydidnt/4242453.html :eek2: According to this person who claims to know her very well, she's in talks with FOX to get her own show!!! McFly121 11-11-2005, 01:59 PM The producers of these types of shows ALWAYS want to mix oil and water. Gets us to do exactly what we're doing: talk about it. But someone with a mouth like that will not last very long. Eventually (sadly) someone is going to have enough and end up...well, who knows. Marguerite, if she doesn't have a heart attack first, will end up with more teeth knocked out. Geez, that woman was a FREAK. Without question, since the series returned, I felt part 2 was the best. Missed part I (how was it)? I don't know what Barry (Marguerite's husband saw in her when he married her). It's like living in a home of an extremist of any religious background. I thought, 'WOW', it was unbelieveable! And for thinking anyone who isn't 'Christian' like her?? Forget about it. To those of you, thanks for posting the links to the articles. I'll look at them later and see if she's like that in real life. That two part episode must have been taped months before hurricane Katrina hit the New Orleans area. I hope part one repeats again soon. I missed it! I felt really, really sorry for the Flisher/D'Amico family having to go through hell like this, literally. I wonder what Jeanne said in her letter to Marguerite and how her family would split the $50,000? The information was displayed on-screen as Marguerite tore up the letter thinking it was promoting 'the darkness'. Brian Damage 11-14-2005, 05:19 PM Believe me, I'm all for loving Jesus, but she used Jesus to be intolerant of other people and that is just wrong. PrettyinPink55 11-14-2005, 05:21 PM I saw the clip on "The Soup" on E!, and I thought WHAT THE HECK??? That lady went psycho!!!! Ireneparalegal 11-14-2005, 07:04 PM Believe me, I'm all for loving Jesus, but she used Jesus to be intolerant of other people and that is just wrong. Thank You. Well Said. I don't get these "religious" freaks who boast abt their religion and God and so forth, etc. AND YET, they don't follow the teachings of NOT JUDGING OTHERS. I am catholic, but I would never have been that way to anyone, regardless of their religious beliefs. She made a bufoon of herself; and those idiot friends of hers, they were just as bad. Ohhhhh, but she doesn't mind taking the DEVIL'S MONEY FOR HER STOMACH STAPLING SURGERY DOES SHE??? Hey, isn't gluttony a sin to her? Or is that ok? Stupid lady. It was filmed around June 20th, because the non-Christians had a summer solstice party while Margaret was there. Brent88 11-17-2005, 03:59 AM Thank You. Well Said.
