Who all thought tonight's episode kicked some seriouso booty?? I did! MAN that was some good stuff! Intense and dramatic and oh so Gilmore in all the right places!

Jess is awsome!!! That's all I have to say.

And the scene with Lorlelai had me bawling!

I am really looking forward to next week, and not so much for the Luke storyline.

Tell me your thoughts on tonight's eppy?

Jess is my hero. I don't even know what else to say. Hopefully anyone who liked Logan before this episode finally had the sense knocked into them. And the last scene between Rory and Emily - perfect. This was definately the best episode of the season.

I wish that the Jess character could be revived. Now that he's matured I think that he'd make a nice addition to the show. I cannot stand having Logan and his stupid friends around anymore. They've been a horrible addition to the show since their first episode. And of course the previews made me very happy... I hope that that scene happens in the beginning of the episode rather than in the last moments or something like that. I'm also interested in that whole Luke storyline, just to see how it unfolds.

I also thought that it was the best episode of the season, by far!! And I too wish that Jess would come back to the show! I like Logan and all, but tonight he was just a total ass!! I wanted to kick him LOL!! He was so mean to Jess and Rory!! What was up with that attitude??

The last scene between Rory and Emily-- where she said Emily was becoming her mother's mother was PERFECT!

And I still can't get over how emotional the scene was with Lorelai and Paul Anka!

I think you're right, though, MaydayMalonesGirl, I should give the Luke storyline a chance. :)

OMG, Yes, tonight's show was AWESOME. I'd say it ties with the season premiere for my favorite episode of the season so far. First off, I loved the scene with Lorelai crying about Paul Anka/Rory to Luke. Second, the Jess part was wonderful.....I just knew that if he was given the chance, he would grow up right. He was so mature and I loved that he is the only person that could open up Rory's eyes. I wish he could come back!!!

As for next week's preview, I got SO excited when I saw the reunion, and then Lorelai wanting to set the wedding date! Then my heart sank with Luke's news...I just keep reminding myself that ASP is as much a LL shipper as we are, and hope for the best.

It was excellent! My fave episode so far this season! Logan really needs to leave the show, I can't stand him. They should bring Jess back.

Jess: Who should I send it to the Blonde d*ck at Yale?

Logan was being a total ass yesterday! I hope he shapes up!! I liked his character!

But I know, they should DEF bring Jess back! Maybe if his new series "The Bedford Diaries" doesn't work out?

man, i'm hoping Rory dumps Logan and realizes that she's not hte "party girlfriend" she's been pretending to be..

i'm still at a loss of words... except for the episode WAS FREAKIN AWESOME!!!

I'm interested to know how Lor is going to react to Luke "little" news.

so do I. Logan has destroyed Rory, and she should realise that.

Yo Logan,

From one man of the bottle to another, the angry drunk thing doesn't work; unless you want to the girlfriend to become the ex girlfriend.

Great episode. I knew there would be a Rory/Emily dustup sooner or later.

well this spoiler kind of alleviates some of my worries about the kid line:
**SPOILER AHEAD***

11/09 - "Rory coming home next week is going to make Lorelai want to move full-steam ahead [with the wedding], but circumstances are going to make Luke start to be concerned about the speed of that. They're heading toward an interesting upheaval," [says Amy Sherman-Palladino.] I just finished watching Episode 9 and I've got three words for you: Best. Episode. Ever. Not only do our girls reunite, but the hour also includes a fantastic Comeback riff, a timely jab at Desperate Housewives and - brace yourselves - a full-on make-out scene between Luke and Lorelai. And not just a few pecks on the cheek. We're talking kisses. Multiple kisses - on the lips. There's also warmth. And passion. And even a little heat. And regarding the long-lost [daughter], I defy you to find fault with this story once you watch it play out. Not only is the [daughter] the greatest acting find of the year, but the way she - I mean, it - is introduced is nothing short of genius.

Logan. I thought Dean was a good boyfriend in season 1, but because of what happened between him and Rory in season 4/5, I hate him

Dean was perfect in season one. Then he started to have issues with Jess in season two.

Dean was never an ass of a boyfriend.. he was a push over at times... but the bottomn line was that he just wasn't "grown up" enough for Rory. He wanted to settle... Logan is just a drunk-jerk. I think he would make a great boyfriend if he would just get a little more serious. I'm hoping they might make an attempt at a break up next week.
