My example...The Longest Yard. I didn't find out till I watched the DVD for the 2005 version earlier and I saw the trailer for the original version from the '70s. :crazy:

There's probably more movies out there that are remakes that I never knew about. :p

Starsky & Hutch (2004).

SCARFACE. I found out shortly after seeing it though.

The t.v remake of Carrie, and The Stepford Wives.

Scarface. I didn't know it was a remake either until I read the back on the dvd case.

Night of the living Dead - 1990 (I thought that was the original)
Parent trap - 1998
Gone in 60 seconds (The original is Gone in Sixty Seconds (Or maybe Vise Versa I dunno))

I cant believe how many remakes there are out there... Its kinda sickening really...

Thats what happend with me with NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1990) I thought that was the original and then I saw the original 1968 one and I thought BLAH!!

All 3 movies I mentioned I saw the remakes first and didn't know they were remakes.
