Yeah there is a James resemblence. He still brings a smile to my face. He still has those cute dimples. Too bad he's married. The recent marathon on TV Land has made me wonder what he looks like now -- you must have read my mind!!! He's a good looking man, that's for sure. Ireneparalegal 11-08-2005, 03:07 AM I remember watching him on WHN! when I was little...I had such a crush on him. The recent marathon on TV Land has made me wonder what he looks like now -- you must have read my mind!!! He's a good looking man, that's for sure. isn't he? damn. Him and John Amos could play a father and son in a movie. Two damn fine looking men. Hey, Haywood could "hay, hay, hay me anytime..." hoosierelvisfan 11-08-2005, 08:14 AM Yes, and IMHO, you can still see the resembelance in the face to how he looked almost thirty years ago despite the fact that his head is shaved now. You could still recognize him in the picture. I say that because I was over at the Good Times board and they posted a picture of Ralph Carter and, I'm sorry, but no matter how many times I looked at his picture, I could NOT tell it was the same person!!!!! But with Haywood, you can definitely tell it is him in the picture. Signed, Respectfully, Dutch hazlenut 11-08-2005, 06:22 PM I say that because I was over at the Good Times board and they posted a picture of Ralph Carter and, I'm sorry, but no matter how many times I looked at his picture, I could NOT tell it was the same person!!!!! But with Haywood, you can definitely tell it is him in the picture. Well, with all do respect to Ralph Carter, he just hasn't aged that well. That is why I have to agree with you about not being able to tell it's the same person. Where as Haywood has aged quite well and still has those oh so adorable dimples! :winkgrin Simply put, Haywood still looks young and that's why you can tell it's him. robby76 11-12-2005, 08:49 AM Here's one of Ernest Thomas http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y255/miester30/rajthomas.jpg Ireneparalegal 11-12-2005, 09:40 PM Here's one of Ernest Thomas http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y255/miester30/rajthomas.jpg Hey that's a real nice pic of him... did anyone see him when he appeared in the movie MALCOM X?? CCRYDER1968 11-20-2005, 04:51 PM I think he would look better with hair, but yeah, still got the cutie dimples:) CindyRoxiesLair2006 12-09-2005, 08:21 PM Irene, you're such a good source for the "latest and greatest" info, also pics!!! Anyhow, Haywood looks awesome nowadays. He's still got the "cutie dimples" (as described so well by CCRYDER  ), and it just goes to show us all that even the coolest of characters/actors improve well with age! (granted that they take good care of themselves meanwhile, and don't let themselves go...) :happyface  Ireneparalegal 12-09-2005, 08:29 PM Irene, you're such a good source for the "latest and greatest" info, also pics!!! Anyhow, Haywood looks awesome nowadays. I wish we could see them at the next TV Land Awards show for '06!!! :talk: I saw Danielle in "As Good as it Gets" (1998) and also in the TV Child Stars documentary (hosted by Malcolm Jamal-Warner, 2003). She looks awesome, and gets prettier with age it seems. I've not seen Ernest-Lee (Raj) lately, though...  Ireneparalegal 12-09-2005, 09:52 PM Many thanks for your honest input, Irene dear...I do try! Anyhow, I wish I could see not only Haywood but also the remaining members of WH (pics of Danielle "Dee" Spencer and Ernest-Lee Thomas)... He was part of Malcolm's entourage; you can see him wearing those long coats, but no glasses! hatwink 02-17-2006, 11:42 AM Isn't Ernest a minister now? msladysoul 02-21-2006, 02:01 PM I read somewhere he was a muslim and studying scientology at the time from his friend Haywood Nelson. CindyRoxiesLair2006 02-21-2006, 08:02 PM Our buddy Haywood is a software and webdesign admin within the Silicon Valley nowadays... And yes, he and Ernest occasionally go on meccas together, whenever they take place and the time is right for each of them. :) |
