I know that someone brought up the topic of Ralph Carter & Haywood Nelson looking alike. At first, I did not think that they looked alike at all. However, this weekend I am watching the "What's Happenin" marathon. The more I watch Haywood Nelson's character, the more I am convinced that him & Ralph Carter could be long-lost brothers. They really do look alike.

I think Haywood and Ralph were both cute back in the day more so Haywood especially with those dimples. I used to have a crush on Haywood a LOOONG time ago....Haywood still looks the same and of course with him being in his 40's he still looks nice but um Ralph on the other hand has not aged well at all. He looks horrible. They are only a year apart. Haywood is 45 and Ralph is 44.

You should have picked a picture where they both had afros so that we can really see the resemblance. In the pictures you picked, Ralph Carter has shorter hair...and he looks cuter. You should have used these pics:

the haywood pic makes him resemble like Michael Jackson, back in the dayz when Michael was cool AND BLACK.

I agree....Haywood does look much better than Ralph. Ralph was cute back in the day but now...nope not at all...Haywood was cute back then and still cute now.

I think you are right about the 'stache.It really doesn't suit his face shape and size.Its too long or something.Shave gain a few pounds and he'll be alright:)

There is an actress and producer named Lydia Nicole who has a facebook page with an old photo of her, Haywood Nelson, and Ralph Carter. They don't look alike, but it's a nice photo of all three.

Never thought they looked alike. Laurence Fishburne when he was 12 and lost the part of Michael to Ralph Carter looked a bit like Ralph. Check the movie Cornbread, Earl, and Me from 1975 with Fishburne in it and their was a bit of an resembalance!

Ralph is SCARY looking. Haywood looks like a normal, handsome man nowadays. Even back in the day, I don't think Ralph and Haywood ever looked alike. Haywood was always a hottie. Ralph...not so much.
