ROCK PRINCESS / SAFETY PIN lol....

btw, I have a question. I never played an instrument, so that means I was never in band. but the question is, does one need to already know how to play an instrument to join band? Or do they teach you that in band?

In our school, the instrument you play has their own lesson group on a certain day and period (like, the flutes are Thursday period 3, trumpets Friday period 8, ect...) and then band is a different day/period. You dont have to be in the band to do lessons, but you have to do lessons in order to be in the band (if that made sense...)

I play trumpet by the way, but my main instrument is PIANO :D

I've played violin, piano, keyboard, flute, piccolo, and clarinet.

Jonathan plays the guitar, and he's always wanted me to get into a musical instrument so I could play along with him. I thought it would be a cool gift to suprise him after i've taken piano lessons... oh well

I was never in band in high school. I did try out for the color guard so that I could hang out with the band...so I could be close to the guy I liked. I couldn't twirl so I didn't get on and then he quit band. Thank God for small miracles.
