Would fans of the original Munsters series buy the new series "The Munsters Today", if released on DVD.

In my opinion, the 1980s series was a redundant and superfluous footnote to the classic 1960s series. A pale imitation. Why bother when we still have the
original series? But that's just me.

I know a lot of people do hate it, that shows you how bad 80s sitcoms were. LOL!
There are a ton of fans in the UK who seem to enjoy it. I have seen a couple of episodes myself. I will definitaly say it is not as good as the original. But, I think the curiosity of it, would make me want to buy it since I love the original series.

Even those TV-movie remakes in the 90s couldn't compare to the original series. There were three of them?
The original series in the 1960s had the quality it did because of the people in front and behind the camera. The era had something to do with it, too. They just did fantasy better and with more style then. Also, the innocence of the early 60s made it more natural.
