i didn't like the character of Bev, though i love the actress Estelle Parsons Just thought Bev was drawn a little too one-note.

Fred Willard is the name of the actor who played Leon's boyfriend.

I loved David.

And yes, Sandra Bernhard (Nancy) is one of those actresses you either love or hate. I actually love her.

I never liked Leon.

Did you know Estelle Parsons played Barney Heffner's wife Blanche on All In The Family.

gee i thought this forum was for people who actally liked the roseanne show??how can you say you like the show and hate most of the charactors,they are actors/actress's the parts they play at the time maybe you are suppose to hate them at that moment for whatever they have said or done,thats called being a good actor.yeah bev was a moaning old hag but that was her charactor that she had to play,and so forth..do you understand where im coming from here..:rolleyes:

I wasn't an Arnie or Nancy fan at all. Sarah Bernhardt seems like an intelligent person in real life, but Nancy just didn't fit into the show with her over-the-top antics.

I never like Tom Arnold for some reason. Arnie was a waste.

I didn't like Leon at first, but he grew on me with his little witticisms. . . .

"There's no need to get up, Roseanne. I know the drill. Here's the gift, here's the receipt. . . . . I'll. . . . . just put them in the car."

How can so many people not like Leon and Bev? They provided us with some of the best story-lines and one-liners from Roseanne and Jackie! I also thought Leon was the perfect match of wits for Roseanne. And Bev was just INSANE, in an extremely funny way!

The only character I didn't like was Crystal.
I also didn't like Becky #2 for her acting but not because she wasn't a good character.

I also didn't like how DJ was in season 9.

My least favorite character was Ed.

Bev. Nuff said.

I guess there should be a distinction.

But I hated her because of her viewpoints on life and women.

So she was a great addition to the SHOW, but I didn't agree with her opinions. I think some people are getting caught up with what they thought about her opinions, not if she made the show funnier/better or not.

if you watch season 1 alot you can get used to Crystal!!, I kinda did!! :)

That's why she was a great addition to the show. She brought up things that were outdated and allowed Roseanne to SHOW they were outdated.
