I wasn't at school yesterday cause I had a really bad cold and a fever, and last Friday my math grade was an A+. Now it's a C- just because I wasn't at school yesterday! :confused: Now does that make ANY sense?? I mean I only missed 2 or 3 assignments from yesterday, but why would my teacher make my grade go TWO letter grades down just because I was absent yesterday?? Gosh I'm so confused and upset!!!!

Depending on how much each assignment was worth, three missing ones can lower your grade quite a bit. Since you missed them they get recorded as zeros and three zeros can easily bring an A down to a C.

You should be able to make your assignments up...your supposed to be able to. Their not supposed to count it as a 0. So yeah thats your teachers wrongdoing. Being apsent isnt supposed to hurt your grade

Yeah, I know....I just finished all the make up work this afternoon. My grade BETTER go up tomorrow or I'm gonna have a serious talk with my teacher!

that's the smart thing to do... talk to your teacher. None of us can really help ya.
