Has it seemed like one year already? My, how time flies!! Time sure flies when you're having a good time! Before I joined, I was checking these boards out and see what they have to offer. What I like about here is (I don't know where to begin)! I know this place is dedicated to situation comedies past and present and there are several of them that I like. I also enjoy the news regarding TV Land and what lies ahead. I'm a huge fan of the network since, to me it acts like a 24 hour independent television station showing nothing but classic television all the time!
I also became a classic TV on DVD collector for a little more than two years now, about a year before I joined S.O. The first classic TV on DVD I picked up was "Rocky & Bullwinkle & Friends (Season 1) in August 2003 and I somehow would strike gold in that area later on. I would like to that the people who update the TV on DVD Forums (Vashti1999) and (pavanbadal) for getting the latest news on upcoming TV DVD releases and the latest news on the activities on TV Land. Both of you are doing a hell of a job! Keep it up!
The members on these boards. Although there are too many members to list here, I would like to thank each and ever one of them for making me feel at home here during the past year including Little Mel, Brent88, Dawsongirl, Fleet, Bobby F., RetroTVCollector, Jen1978, Janice, Superstar, 80s_Fan, MsOrange, Leland McKenzie and so many more! I have to say to some of you that although I don’t see eye to eye politically on some issues or our current president, I don’t have a bad word to say about anybody, whatsoever. You guys are the best despite our political differences.
In closing, I would like to thank Janice, who I feel is the best moderator here on these boards IMHHO, she keeps the boards in check, updates the latest news in the Politics section and brings many subjects to the table that are very interesting for all of us to discuss and enjoy. There are times I don’t see eye to eye on the political differences but I’m thrilled we can strongly disagree without hurting anybody personally. Keep it up with what you’re doing, Janice! There’s no one here that can do a better job than you can! If it hadn’t been for your marvelous work here, I wouldn’t be here to begin with!
