Janet left the show and it was Jack, Chrissy, and Terri? Do you think it would have worked?

I've never thought about it but I probably wouldn't watch it!!! Just like TAC I wouldn't watch that b/c Janet isn't part of it!

Easily. Janet was my least favorite of the original roommates and I still watched after Chrissy left. The only way I would have stopped watching is if John Ritter left the show.

I have never thought about it. I think I would have watched it. Although I must admit it would be hard to watch without Janet. She and Jack had a chemistry on screen that would have been hard to duplicate. I don't know. It is definitely an interesting question to think about.....

Janet and Jack was kind of like-"Moe and Larry from the Stooges. They could not be replaced at all, only the 3rd roomate.

I would have watched the show easily. John Ritter is my all time favorite person in the world. I will always watch everything that he is on. :)

Interesting question...I probably would but I can honestly say a lot of the magic would be gone. There needed to be that "straight man" type of character and Janet ( Joyce ) was perfect for that role. Plus, her chemistry with John was fantastic and I thought they worked well together as friends on the show.

I would still watch the show, but it certainly would be different to see. The episode "Stanley's Hotline" that didn't include Joyce DeWitt wasn't a bad episode, but I still of course, preferred her to be there.

I agree with you DallasCowboy:). That would be the only way that I would've stopped watching 'Three's Company' . It's just like the same reason why '8SR' was cancelled. After the 'GoodBye' episode, people weren't as interested in watching it anymore. Don't get me wrong, James Gardner is ok, but he isn't John Ritter. The cast did the best they could under the circumstances.(sighing)

I never thought about that! But I probably still would've watched it, although it would definetly be tough, like Brian Damage said. Janet is irreplacaple, and her relationship with Jack couldn't be replaced
