My husband and I have a big glass jar where we throw our leftover change in everyday. After a few months we roll it up, take it to the bank and deposit it in our account. Sometimes if its a penny or whatever Ill just walk away and say Im all set because I work as a cashier and I cant stand some people staring down at you waiting for you to dig out that penny. On the opposite end of this: One nasty male cashier (he was always a mean cuss, to customers and co-workers alike) actually EXPECTED me to allow him to not give me my change. Why? Because he didn't want to bother to open up a new roll of coins.
