Wasn't Mary's rent mentioned in "More Than Neighbors"? I watched that ep. just the other day, too. I'll have to look again and see!

Rent must have gone up. In a later season (sorry, don't remember which) when the new program director visited Mary she asked about rents in the area, and Mary told her that she payed "about $152.50".

In season three "Just Around the Corner" (episode where her parents move back) she says the rent is 135.

Do you think Phyllis may have given Mary a price break on the rent, seeing as they were "old friends"?? Lars was a doctor. Surely it wouldn't have broken Phyllis to give Mary a discount. But then again, it's Phyllis, so who knows??
