At least we won't have a long wait between seasons 5 and 6. It would be nice to see Priscilla on the extras. It'll also be nice to see the season premiere episode unedited in the hour-long format (in which it originally aired).

I think it will be. With the original bumper with John Ritter saying in between, "Stay tuned, the second half of Three's Company will continue in a moment." Same goes for the "Best of Three's Company" special. You can view both bumpers on my website's multimedia (in videos) section to see what I mean.

It's been so long since I've seen 'The Best of Three's Company', almost 20 years. The CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Company) aired Three's Company reruns all through the 1980's (those were the days) and they also aired 'The Best of Three's Company' as part of it, in two parts of course. It'll be nice to see it also unedited.

I can't wait to get season 6 on DVD. Priscilla is my favorite of the girls, and I am looking forward to seeing my favorite episodes out. I would also love it if they bring TAC and TR out on DVD also.

I think a commentary on UITA would have been nice but I can see where they chose Jack Bares All! Since it's PB's frist epi and stuff!!! I like tha epi so it's cool for the commentary to be there...

The extra's really are weak now. The 'Best Of' features were hardly a great addition, but they even stopped adding those.
I don't think the Lucille Ball feature will appeal to everybody, so they needed to add more extra's. Why no more Blooper's? Maybe they are saving them for another release, but they should have included seasonal bloopers on each release.

The Dave Powers commentary is a great feature though.

Bottom line---

Extras started to diminish in quality and quantity in season four, and never reached that high quality standard again. AB should get their act back together again and give us quality extras.

ALTHOUGH, this set may turn out to flourish in quality, depending on what LAUGHS AROUND THE WORLD IS. If it were a decent, 90 minute doc about the dailies of producing a THREE'S COMPANY episode, that would more than make up for the other garbage (I'm talking about the Best-ofs here) that was thankfully omitted from this release, seen on all other releases since season two of this show.

Pavan, TJ, anybody, any clue? (And if this is just another way for saying "Best ofs", then I'm pissed)

Chris Mann is not involved anymore, thus this is why the special features have been downgraded, but still we get some features. All I care is we get every episode unedited. Anything else is just a bonus.

I knew that was going to be the picture that would be on the cover of season 6. I was looking through my DVD sets the other day and I thought that maybe they would do season 6 in yellow, and they did :lol:

I don't mean to be rude or involve racisim into this b/c I come from a minorty heritage but ....why are they putting an epi in polish....when they could use that extra space for a cast interview or something where we don't go back to the same thing!! Behind stuff and bloopers would be great!!! But its true Pav, we should be thankful that we are at least gettin them on DVD and unedited!!

I figured that Anchor Bay would use that particular cast picture, after all, it features everyone, including Jenilee Harrison. I figured that they would use orange this time, but the yellow is nice too.

Thanks, Mr. Mann, for your comments. That was rather unpolite and unprofessional of them to not listen to your suggestions, as I'm sure they were great. I bet alot of the sales came from the abundance of effort that you put into the sets.

CLARIFICATION OF THIS EXTRA:

No it is NOT an episode in Polish. It is an 8 minute or so featurette introduced by George Sunga. He details the worldwide popularity of the show and new versions of the show are being produced internationally using the original scripts. In Poland, they have their own Three's Company with their own actors (but the same scripts are used). This featurette shows bits of the episode "Paradise Lost" in Polish , interlaced with the US version.

I've seen this featurette. While it is not one of the best featurettes to ever hit DVD, it is well done. And I repeat, it is NOT an episode of Three's Company dubbed in Polish.

Anchor Bay has done such a great job with the DVD's. I'm glad that they're putting them out at a fast pace (about every 4-6 months).

That's a good question. Probably too busy. Also, which episode was it where they showed that tag scene where Terri comes out in that little night gown and Jack spills his drink on Janet? It was in the episode where Lucile Ball hosted 'the Best Of Three's Company'.
