Hayley Mills hwas been the greatest child actress, and adult star of all time. What is YOUR favorite Hayley Mills movie? Here's my list:
DISNEY MOVIES
"Pollyanna"
"The Parent Trap"
"In Search Of The Castaways"
"Summer Magic"
"The Moon-Spinners"
"That Darn Cat!"
"The Parent Trap II"
"The Parent Trap III"
"The Parent Trap IV"

NON-DISNEY MOVIES
"Tiger Bay"
"Whistle Down The Wind"
"The Chalk Garden"
"The Truth About Spring"
"The Trouble With Angels"
"The Family Way"

Do you think Hayley's movies will be remade
for a new generation. I was a big fan of Hayley on "Saved By The Bell". Do you think she could've continued to play Miss Carrie Bliss?

I think she should have appeared in the last episode and yes she could have continued to play Miss Bliss. My favorite movie is the Parent Trap.

Pollyanna ,I love that movie. Halyey did the best acting job ever. I also loved Trouble with Angels especially at the end where she decided to become a nun. I loved just about all her movies though & own most of them.

Supposedly, a remake of "The Trouble with Angels" is in development. "The Moon-Spinners" is pretty good -- worth watching just for the incredible scenery on Crete. I remember seeing it on the "Walt Disney" TV show when I was younger.

because she was an 8th grade teacher, and the kids went to high school the rest of the series.

actually, Hayley mills was NEVER in Saved by the bell. hayley mills was in GOOD MORNING,MISS BLISS.after saved by the bell was cancelled, they brought the 13 episodes and changed the beginning. Zack said something before every episode of the junior high episodes.

he would say something like"i remember back then when i was in 8th and i did this". they taped those parts after saved by the bell was cancelled. so, the junior high years are just re-runs of GOOD MORNING,MISS BLISS

What are you saying exactly Brandon? How can they tape "Good Morning Miss Bliss" AFTER Saved by the Bell was cancelled??? That makes no sense because all the actors are much younger during Miss Bliss...when Zack talks in the beginning it's only for the reruns they've been putting on recently.

So I still have a question...why did Hayley Mills and some others leave the show? They just changed the whole thing around and recast people???

My favorite would definitely be "Parent Trap." I tried to watch "Moonspinners" a couple times on Vault Disney, but I could never get into it and actually finish lol.

Well an article came out in 1989 stating that Halley Mills has left the show. I believe every one else was fired. Shades of the Facts of Life during the first season. I would have liked for Hayley Mills to have appreared in the Las Vegas movie.

I LOVE Hayley Mills. My dad wanted to name me after her... but that's another story. My faves have always been Summer Magic and The Parent Trap.

Anyone see Parent Trap III and Hawian Honeymoon with Leeana Creel (Tori) and her triplet sisters?

I have seen a lot of Hayley's films! I have been a fan of her films since I was like 4 lol. My faves are The Parent Trap, That Darn Cat, Pollyanna, & The Moon-Spinners. In fact, I own all of those I mentioned except Pollyanna. I really should purchase it one day. I also remember renting Summer Magic years ago and it was ok as well but not a favorite. And I think I have seen all the tv movie sequels to The Parent Trap. As for them making remakes...They have did two. The Parent Trap & That Darn Cat. I admit that The Parent Trap was actually a pretty good remake. But as for That Darn Cat, well lets just say it completely sucked. They so could not recapture the magic Hayley had in the film. I really love the episodes of SBTB with Miss Bliss. They are really good. And to that Brandon guy - yes it was called Good Morning Miss Bliss at first, BUT they just changed the name to Saved By the Bell, and I see it as being the same series just the title was changed and new classmates came in the next season. :)

I have been a fan of her movies since I watched the Disney Channel in the 1980's. I have seen just about all of her films. The ones that I liked a lot were: Pollyanna, The Parent Trap, and That Darn Cat! Two of them are my favorites. Can you guess which two?

OMG! You do NOT know my family's obsession with Hayley Mills. I was almost named Hayley! My dad like fell in love with her when he was a kid and still has this undying love for her. I think my favorite is Summer Magic. Great actress, glad I'm not named after her though!

Here's a treat for you Hayley Mills fans: Now you can get Hayley's films on DVD!

"The Parent Trap","Pollyanna", and "The Moon- Spinners" are on DVD. Now if they can put the "Good Morning.Miss Bliss" episodes on DVD,that would make "Saved By The Bell" a classic!

Yup, I've seen all 4 Parent Trap movies...and the new one with Lindsay Lohan too (but that doesn't count).

Anyways, my favorite Hayley Mills movie is the original Parent Trap. When I was younger I used to watch it all the time.

I love "The Parent Trap" both original and updated versions of the movie.:) I actually loved Lindsay Lohan's first movie with dual roles. Later on, she appeared in a TV movie, "Get a Clue" along with the Disney films like the updated version of "Freaky Friday" (I saw that movie last year, I have it on DVD), "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" and a new movie comes out on April 30th called "Mean Girls" Lindsay's first non-Disney movie from Paramount.:)

LOL... I just found a connection between "Showgirls," and "Saved By The Bell." In one scene Nomi (Elizabeth Berkley,) was told she looked like Pollyanna... Hailey Mills (as we all know) starred in "Pollyanna," and "Good Morning Miss Bliss."

What you should be saying is 'What is your favorite Hayley Mills line?' Here's some I remember:

"Well,of all the stupid, little juvinille tricks! Do tou mean to tell me you dragged me all the way up here just to se a... a crummy old tree?"
from "Pollyanna" (1960)

"I can't imagine anyone not loving Mother. She's absolutely divine."

from "The Parent Trap" (1961)

"Can you tell me where he his? Please tell me. Where is Captain Grant?"

from "In Search Of The Castaways"(1962)

"Of course! it's just a small white one onky colored a little."

from "Summer Magic"(1963)

"Oh,I don't want any money. Really I don't."

from "The Moon-Spinners"(1964)

"Canoe, this is just a coincidence, but have you stopped to think that there's more to life than just surfing and eating?"

from "That Darn Cat!"(1965)

What other lines from her movies do you remember?
