Here's another story that's an outrage and the sentence that she got isn't enough and I'm pretty sure that you will all agree. It's from "The Gazette" of today (our local newspaper) here in Montreal, Canada.

NEWFOUNDLAND

St. John's - A woman who routinely beat two of her children, deprived them of food and access to a washroom, bound them with tape an confined them to a cold, drafty room, has been sentenced to prison for four years and two months. The 41-year-old, who is not being identified to protect the girls, now 12 and 11, offered little explanation other than this written statement:
"Maybe I didn't know how to show them love the right way, only the wrong way which was shown me."

The only thing I have to say about this, is that if she knew ahead of time that she wouldn't be able to treat kids properly because of the way she was treated as a kid then, she should've never had any......period!!

Wow, I never heard that some people don't treat the kids properly. I never heard such a thing in real life. I believe that woman is so shame that she wanted to punish her children so hard and end up getting herself in jail. I hope this doesn't happen again.

It's sad that people have kids and don't know how to raise them or love them. Ecspecially when there are so many people out there who want kids and can't have them.

Yeah, it's sad that people don't raise their children very well, especially when they can't have them. I'm prettty sure that if I had children or just one child, I can raise them nicely.
