I just got two appointments for job interviews.
I was THIS close to just flat out giving up on everything... sure, i've got my computer technology degree, and right now I have a co-op position, but the likelyhood of that job turning into full time has gotten bleaker and bleaker. I couldn't get a call back on anything, and I was running out of places to send my resume. I threw my hands up and said screw it.
Suddenly, I walked into class tonight and there is a job posting on the bullentin board for an entry level support technician. The job description has ME written all over it. So what do I do? I slip out of class, go to the lab, and send them my resume. I get home tonight and what do I have? AN EMAIL BACK... with a proposed date for an interview. Then while checking my email, I saw another one from another job I was called about last week. Since I hadn't heard anything about an interview since the call, I assumed they decided to go in a differnt direction, but alias, it was there!
I am very happy right now :p
