Richard Thompson, the British folk-rock singer-songwiter who cofounded the late-sixties group Fairport Convention (like Jethro Tull, only better), is playing at Town Hall in Manhattan tonight and tomorrow night, and I'm going to see him tomorrow. He's the most important folk-rock innovator in Britain, kind of like their Roger McGuinn. Great guitarist too! His new album, Front Parlour Ballads, is great! :) :rock:

Oh yeah, he's playing with Joan Baez at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on Friday.
