My friend told me that Jake Epstein (Craig) would be leaving mid-season. Does anybody know if this is true? I love Craig, and am really looking forward to the possible romance between him and Ellie.

So far we've lost Terri, Sean, Ashley, Caitlyn...we've lost too many Degrassi-ers!

Also, does anybody know if there will be another seaon of Degrassi after this? Since Paige, Jimmy, Hazel, etc. are seniors, I don't know what they will do next season. Although they still have Emma, JT, Manny, Liberty, etc.

If Emma saw the entire shooting why didn't she see Sean point the gun to Rick when Rick supposedly shot himself? Wouldn't you think if that's what happened they would have found out by now or question Sean. Lies, Miss Nelson.

Jake Epstein is leaving after half the season, turns out he is moving to englad with Ashley. I doubt that they will make another season after this. Unless if they got a whole new pack of freshaman's or something but it would suck!

I personally think the show is great....and agree with the critics. :D

Also, I could do without Manny...UGH! But I don't really mind Liberty, JT, or Toby.

Oh no, I hope they don't do that...like make a different actor play Craig?

no, just get a total new character to take his place as in, friends with Jimmy and the gang, not a new craig, a new character that will replace him (like how Lola replaced Dana). I guess the producers felt there was no more need for his character without ashley, as to result why Melissa McIntyre quit the show :crying:

Well, as long as Jimmy stays. He's one of my favorites. I'm just bummed Ellie's going too. I was hoping for a romance between them.

He wouldn't be moving to England to be with Ashley because she broke up with him via email because she met someone else. The reason would have to be something else.

I can't remember where I heard it from but I beleive the producers are planning a degrassi college years. I don't know if this will work because so many people are leaving and when people leave a show the ratings tend to go down from there. Espeically with this many losses.

The older kids are going to college for season 6, so I'm not sure how that's gonna work into the show. Maybe they'll show 2 schools or something like that. I hope Paige doesn't go anywhere! I already lost Craig and Ash.

I'm just delighted they will follow them to college! I love my Degrassi!

I hope the show will still do well with all those people leaving.... I would hate for it to be cancelled :(
