How come Night Court Season 2 isn't out yet?

I don't know, but I've been searching Google for info and none so far.

Season 1 rocked. The quality of the episodes are better than the syndicated prints on TV Land and I'm able to make kick-ass avatars and wallpapers from the screengrabs because of the quality.

I hope it comes out before or after Christmas. That would rule. I'm totally getting it the day it comes out.

It all depends on how many copies S1 sold. If the returns justify it, they'll produce more seasons. Tho I think Dan had a better chance of winning a seat on the State Assembly than we do of getting all the seasons. :(

Not too long ago I bought the 1st Season. (yay) And I was going to earlier, but no copies were available, then I called in and they had one copy there. So I later went to get it. So they muct have been re-stocking. And I got it at the mall.

Wal*Mart should get all TVDVDs... or at least the ones they don't... lol.

And I checked TVShowsOnDVD.com not long ago and it was at #89. It's still there. I did get a mail message about it coming out on "Best Of" I just hope they do Complete Series again, because that's the "Best" IMO, and it is at 1965 votes.

The thing that's dumb by determining making future seasons of a show is that usually the first season isn't when shows have hit their full stride-Night Court included-so some people may be less likely to purchase season 1. I know Markie Post has a good following, so people who are fans of hers might be waiting for seasons with her in it before purchasing.

HaskellGirl, exactly. That's why I didn't buy it. I detested season 1, the show's quality going way up seasons 2-5. Which is why I'm thankful for DVRs, cuz now my Night Court collection is nearly complete, should Warner not do anymore discs (which I doubt they will).

All I have to say is that Warner Brothers better release the whole season set. They not only owe it to the fans of the show, but they owe it to the cast memebers of the show for treating them like garbage in their last season and mucking up the show's season finale. The cast deserved better than what happened to them. I don't think any long running show or cast were treated as poorly as the "Night Court" gang were treated. They really got the shaft.

You're probably right, although the cast of the Jeffersons weren't treated great either. Cast members found out the show had been cancelled in the Hollywood trade publications!

Yikes. There are others shows too... but yeah, actually there are quite a few that are treated badly. (Esp with DVD Sets now.... argh.. grrr. )

Also I read that the "Family Matters" Cast went to make the 10th Season (I believe that was right) they were going to have Steve and Laura get married. But when they returned the set had been destroyed. Like by fire I think. Geez.

Some news I found at another Night Court forum. According to Warner Home Video, there are no plans to release season 2 because of poor sales of season 1. They are releasing a "Best of" DVD in 2006. It is suggested that if you didn't buy season one, buy it and buy the "best of" also. If season one sales increase and "best of" does well, then they will release additional seasons.
I know, season one and two weren't the best but if we want later seasons then we need to do this. I have season one and wasn't planning on buying the "best of" because I wanted to buy it by season. However since it may be the only way to get additional seasons and if sales are so low we won't get more seasons, I have decided that I will make this purchase.

I'll definately buy the "best of"....another thing to think about is that the "best of" would probably make a great gift!! so that's another way we can boost the sales, and I'm sure people would appreciate. Every time I talk about Night Court, people always say 'Oh, I loved that show!!!" :)

I feel like a traitor not getting season 1, but believe me, if I had money to burn I would contribute to the Save the Night Court Future Editions Fund :). But I know my one purchase would not change the fact that the show is really forgotten. Kinda hoping TV Land's aquisition would've driven up interest among lost fans. Apparently not :(

Guilty! That's a $20 fine(cost of season 1) and time served.

I'd like to support it, but I can't buy everything I want.
I've been wondering: Why do they always start with Season 1?
We all want S 3+4. They should know that..........at least now they should.

the fact that the show is really forgottenI don't know if that's a fact. How can you forget it? It was part of the most popular line-up in history.
