If it was on primetime television, going up against all the reality shows and crime dramas?
Would George Jefferson be accepted by a mass audience? I can't think of anyone on tv like him right now. Everyone is so nice and polite, at least on comedies.Ray Romano and the cast of Friends come to mind.Yuck!

Hard to say because those shows were a hit mainly because ALL BLACK SHOWS were never seen on TV before at the time. So that's a hard question to answer
