When James put the $2000 on the Table and said that it was really $29,000 and J.J said-"Dad how can you do a thing like that?, you should have returned the $2000 and kept the rest"-lol
Then when James was saying to each one of his kids how they can benefit from the money, Michael and Thelma didn;t really want to hear it but when James said to J.J he can paint with some good art supplies, J.J says-"Yeah i can dig it"-LOL
By The way, these were two LAIDBACK moments of the J.J character which is why I found these moments funny.

I laugh at those parts too. Michael and Thelma didn't want any part of the money, but JJ did. I liked the way he just said "yeah". Like you said.

I'm surprised when Florida asked him to go steal at the SuperMarket he didn't say-"ok momma" with a smile-LOL

Good thing I got the DVD, cause on my tapes that I taped off of TBS, they cut this part out.

I only saw a few episodes of Good Times on TBS because it used to come on after Gilligan. I taped both of them back to back without the commercials and it was only 41 minutes long.

Ok so it sounds like it's in the 20/21 min length.

something like that, I don't think the Gilligan episode was edited as much as the Good Times episode.

Florida shouldn't have used JJ as an example, considering how he "finds" art supplies.
