I was driving home from a hockey game sunday when I heard the song "I Got You Babe". Immediately I thought of that song being played on AD in season 4 or 5. To all of you diehard AD fans, I must apologize in advance, but thye only thing I could picture Was a "hippi-fied" Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey bopping along on Bandstand.
On a different note: did anyone notice that AD stopped getting any real publicity right around the same time the war in Iraq broke out? Coincidentally, this was around the same time that J.J. went off to Vietnam and AD started to show some of the anti war sentiment. Was NBC doing MR. Bush a favor in endorsing the family oriented show less than ever before?
Again, just a thought from a pessimistic point of view.

First, I think a hippi Jessica Simposn would have been cool.

Second, I'm not sure if I agree with about the Vietnam/Iraq/publicity thing. While "American Dreams" did adress anti-war sentiment through Meg, it also addressed pro-war sentiment through Jack and JJ. It showed both sides of the story well. "American Dreams" never really got much publicity after it's first season.

We WISH American Dreams had had 4 or 5 seasons, unfortunately, it was only 3. Right now would be season 4, if only it were so........
