I have not seen it, or seen it to buy season 4 of The Brady Bunch with this episode. Does anybody own it? Is the famous scene everybody here talks about where Cindy and Bobby come down the stairs in their bathing suits on it? Can anybody post pictures of it?

Season 4 does not come out until November. So I don't think anyone can show picutres of the scene without it. Unless they taped it a long time ago.

I do recall that Bobby & Cindy were walking through the kitchen in just towels when Alice sees them. She says "Hey where are you going...." the kids explain themselves...then I can't remember what happens after that.

But like I said, hopefully in a few weeks we'll all see that scene when Season 4 comes out.

The only places where that scene might still be intact is in Canada, (which has very few rules with regards to the censorship of any of its shows) and Australia, where two years ago, someone posted over at www.bradyworld.com that this scene was still intact. All US syndicated prints have cut out this scene since the mid 80's distrubution cycle and it has not been seen since. TBS used syndicated prints so there were no changes when they acquired the series. Small hope was made avaliable when TV Land acquired the show in June 1998. The problem was while some matrial was added back in, TV Land did their own edits when they acquired the rights and the "bathrobe scene" did not make the restorations.

In a few weeks, (a little longer for me as I don't buy just released DVD's for about 3-4 weeks so that the bugs can be worked out of new releases,) you will finally get to see a Brady Bunch scene that has not been seen in the United States for about 15 years.

Do me a favor as I won't be getting Season 4 till about mid November.

In my thread where I have been doing all those edits/restorations of Brady Bunch Scenes no longer aired and talking about the uncut restorations on DVD. PLEASE POST the actual dialogue and maybe some pictures of that scene because we get so many requests about it. Anyway, this is what I remember: (Very vague)

Bobby and Cindy are going through the kitchen dressed in bathrobes and Alice asks "Hey, where you two guys going?"

Bobby: "We're going swimming over at ( Joey's ) house (not sure of name) They just moved in, Joey's dad's a doctor.

Alice: "Wait a second Bobby, are you wearing your new bathing suit or the one with all the holes in it?"

(she peeks at his robe startled)

Alice: "You're not wearing your bathing suit, your wearing your birthday suit!!"

Bobby: " But Alice, all Joey's friends swim like that over there."

Alice: "His dad must not have much of a practice if they can't afford bathing suits.

Cindy: "And Joey's dad says the sun has lots of vitamins."

Alice: "Well so does orange juice, but you don't go swimming in it!"

Bobby: "But Alice!!!"

Alice: "You are not going to swim in an X-rated swimming pool without your parent's permission! Upstairs!"
