In the eppi where Mama gets arrested for fortune telling, I could NOT understand why Morticia was SO against her telling fortunes,,,It seems that would have been something she would have appreciated!
But she was acting like Mama was doing something bright and cheery.
She hated her burning incense, and said how unbecoming it was to parade around as a gypsie..
I could NOT understand Morticia's attitude in THAT eppi, it's almost like she was turning "normal".

I understand how you feel and everything! So let's just assume that the arresting officer in this case was from the detective division of the G.R.P.D.
(as in GRAND RAPIDS, MINNESOTA)!? I mean that town has a good-sized mixture of swamplands, rolling hills, dark & creepy forests, & wide open praires! Now geographically speaking that sounds like the kind of a place where the ADDAMSES would more than likely live, but you must remember that later on in the courtroom itself that when the judge tried to find GOMEZ in contempt of court that MORTICIA took over the case, & finally the judge had drop the charges & dismiss the case when he learned that his wife was MAMA'S best customer!? Ofcourse, before going to trial GOMEZ learned he had hollowed his old text books from law school and said to him self "& all these years I thought that LURCH was thiltching my cigars?!", not to mention that they once thought about smuggling a hacksaw to MAMA in a cake, only thing is that they recalled doing that for one relative and he ate the cake! Hacksaw and all! Then afterwards as GOMEZ recalled "He developed a taste for them!"
