Unfortunately one of the greatest shows ever is rarely or never on tv anymore and that's why you must get the new Dukes of Hazzards DVD. This show is incredible, and filled with lots of classic scenes with Bo, Luke, Daisy and the rest of the gang. I can’t wait to get it and invite my friends over for a Dukes of Hazzards marathon. The DVD comes out just in time for the holidays so treat yourself or someone you love to a guaranteed great gift.

Unfortunately, the 5th season is when the faux-Dukes, Coy and Vance, took over for Bo and Luke when Tom Wopat and John Scheider walked out due to their lawsuit against Warner Bros over merchandising royalties.

Bo and Luke did return at the end of the season, but only for two or three episodes, I believe. This damaged the show, as it dropped in the ratings and never regained its peak position in the nielsen ratings.

Rarely on TV anymore? It's been on CMT every weekday since February...

Actually, season five is coming out December 13, not November 13. The DVD's are the uncut versions of the episodes.

Crap. I was looking forward to having it in Nov, even though it's C and V's season.

I'll be curious to see the cover art. If Bo and Luke are pictured in place of Coy and Vance, than it's false advertising. I thought the packaging for season five of Three's Company is very deceptive - Suzanne Somers, who only appeared in full on a handful of episodes, is featured, but Jenilee Harrison, who appeared in most of them, is not. They should have put Jenilee on the cover as well.

Interesting compromise on the cover art. I'm glad they didn't engage in deceptive packaging by having Bo and Luke on the cover.
