...with 3D glasses? Was there actually anything extra to see?

I forgot it was on. It will repeat a thousand times a day for the next few weeks so I can see it then. That would be cool if something was in 3D but I dont know.

Lol there is nothing in 3D to see, its just a play on the 3D movies that were popular back then, and this being I love the 80's part 3. At least nothing 3D that I saw.

I think they are just calling it 3D because it's the 3rd series. If anything they should do a second I Love the 70s.

I read that too, that's why I wondered if there was anything extra to see by wearing them. I have some that came with another DVD; I guess I'll just have to test it out myself.

You can tell when something is supposed to be in 3D, even without glasses.

The whole "3D" thing is a joke.

Still pretty good though, nowhere as good as the first 2 "I Love The 80s" or the 2 "I Love The 70s", but a lot better than both of the "I Love The 90s."

Well I can't lie to you, I didn't discover Freaks and Geeks until after it was off the air.

I was trying to point that out. I've never seen all of the "I Love the 80's - 3-D" mini series from 1980 to 1987. The 1988 and 1989 episodes is tomorrow. If I would like to see it again, I would programming it on DVR until I will copy it onto my DVD-R. As I said on my post, I saw "I Love the 80's" mini-series with the first one and "Strikes Back". I've never seen the 3-D mini series because I missed it.:( I would get another chance to watch it soon. Stay tuned.

my friend works at best buy so i told her to get me a pair and she brought me like a stack of 50 and i watched it and dude nothing was 3d it pissed me off

They need to show more I Love the 70s. They've done 3 80s ones now...give the 70s more love, VH1. 1:3 is a bad ratio.

I watched a few episodes, all of which were pretty bad imo.

On DVD actually. I had heard about it when it got cancelled, but never saw an episode. Then I rented a disc, and it got me to buy the set.

Guess what? I do saw "I Love the 80's 3D" and it was great from 1980 to 1989. I saw half of 1980 until 1982 since I put all these series on DVD-R in order for example "I Love the 80's", "I Love the 80's: Strikes Back" and "I Love the 80's 3D". All three of the mini-series are all focused on a specific year from 1980 to 1989. I'm recording 1984 and it might take a few hours until I get to 1989. It was on VH1 since I programmed on my DVR yesterday since I missed the first week while I was away.

I thought that the first I love the 80's and 80's Strikes Back were way better than this one. I grew up in the 80's but a lot this stuff they are covering on 80's 3D I don't even remember. It seems to me like they are trying too hard to come up with stuff to talk about.

There was also a segment on 1986 in "I Love the 80's 3D" where they were talking about one of my favorite brand Memorex. I always love Memorex with a passion where they made the finest tapes, now the finest CD's and of course electronics. I got this pic here.

I was shocked that they waited until the 3rd installment to talk about the Exxon Valdez spill. That was huge.

Yes! I do recalled that one of those guys are talking about how the Memorex tape shattered a glass when you turn up at about 160 dB. That was so loud when you hear them break the glass. There are loud of guys screaming while he hit the glass and broke. That was funny. Too bad, Memorex don't make cassettes anymore, now it's a CD-R. As for the segment, it would do better with TDK and Maxell.

I just completed my "I Love the 80's" series from the first one through "3D". I just finished over 2 hours of 1988 and 1989 last night as well as half of 1984 through 1987 the other day. Now, I complete my whole collection just to keep me satisified.:)
