I don't know why ABC got rid of 8 Simple Rules and has Supernanny there. Hope & Faith is getting a better rating after Supernanny??!?

$$$$$. Supernanny costs little to produce (probably less than $1 million), compared with $1.5 to $2 million for the typical half hour sitcom. Supernanny is up 3% in its timeslot in viewers and adults 18-49, and ABC is saving millions of dollars a week. With the continued crappy ratings for H&F (flat in viewers and down in slight in adults), it wouldn't be surprized to see it cancelled by the end of this season and replaced with a reality show. It's just too expensive to keep a sitcom that has poor ratings and has no potential for ratings growth. ABC would likely do better with "Wife Swap" in the hour.
