That picture is from the show The Facts of Life. I have actually never seen it. I just know that Jami was on it a few times. Her character was named Boots St. Claire.

Do your pictures do that when you try to print them out also? Or have you printed pictures from your computer?

I tried printing pictures I have, but they didn't come out right.

I know, isn't it? Boots St. Claire sounds like the name of a tomboy. I just could not imagine for the life of me Jami as a tomboy. But you can tell by the picture she wasn't playing a tomboy at all.:lol:

The 1970s is culturally my favourite decade with '76 arguably the best. The US was celebrating their bicentennial and Canada was hosting their first ever Olympics.

Some movies which haven't been mentioned yet: Rocky, The Bad News Bears, Car Wash, Bound for Glory, Two-Minute Warning (theatrical version) The Pink Panther Strikes Again and one of my all-time favourites Network.

Musically KISS was at their height in popularity releasing their best studio album Destroyer and winning a People's Choice Award for their best charted song Beth.

On US TV, All in the Family (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=31) and Happy Days (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=12) sitcoms were airing weekly. Watched for the first time that summer practically on a nightly basis People Choice's best drama Starsky & Hutch (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=556).

I was 8 yrs old that year. :lol:

I remember going to a bicentennial celebration in San Luis Obispo (Calif) and it was sooooo huge. I was 9years old and didn't understand the whole fuss. I know now. It was the last time I had ever seen soooo many fireworks in my life. I loved that summer. it was awesome. thanx for the memories.:wave:
