Has anyone here ever traded with --
(Josh) Joey P.<italianjoey25@yahoo.com>
I received an email from him early last week wanting to get some Here's Lucy episodes. He had a list of 4 and I was only able to give him 2 of them , the other ones I did not have. We were going to trade, in fact I was getting 2 hours worth of HL episodes (5) that I was missing and he was getting his 2 + Lucy on Phil Donahue from 1972.
Here is what happened next:
"Sure, I just started recording now, so I'll be done in about 2 hours. Can I have your shipping address so I can get the package ready?"
I then send him my address.
"Oh, I got your list from Sitcoms Online. But can you add Lucy on Phil Donahue to my tape (that show was an hour long, right?). So does that fill up the tape, or do I have another half-hour show to pick from?
Also, when do you think you could ship my tape? Thanks, Josh "
I then informed him that since he is the one who initiated the trade, he needs to send out first.
"Okay. I've never done a trade before, so I'm new to this. So I'll try to ship your tape tomorrow" (Oct 13)
Now a week later and i emailed him to see if he had sent out the tape.
"Hi, actually I haven't yet. I will try to send it out ASAP.Sorry for the delay."
Whether he is a bad trader or someone that has problems sending out in a timely manner, IF you ever receive a trade from him, I would STRONGLY suggest to wait until he sends out first. AS I told him , if he really wanted those episodes so badly, why wasn't he trying to send out my tape, which would ensure a return on his?
