Since it's been years since I watched seasons 5 -10, I can only rank from 1 to 4.

I haven't seen most of the post 1980 episodes in a while, but for now I'd say:

season 1 was the best because George was really at his rawest then and comparing Florence in year 1 to the other seasons is funny. In later years they relied to much on her insulting George.

season 6 Mike Evans is back and the show has a renewed energy about it

season 3 only 2 Mother Jefferson episodes, Florence moves in and the best year of shows with Damon Evans in them

season 5- I thought I'd dislike this year because there is no Lionel, but having seen these shows recently it was a very good season

seasons 7 and 8- going from memory these are about on par, although year 8 does have some weak episodes, but I remember watching the show pretty faithfully when these episodes originally aired on cbs

season 4- I haven't seen too many of these, but it seemed like a good season

season 2- this might belong higher, but I can't decide exactly where. Maybe because I've seen some of these many times and I'm kind of tired of them

season 11- maybe because I know it's the last year and definitely because of Sayonara this year is more tolerable than 9 or 10 which from memory were this series at its worst.

To me she slowed the show down.

I think they should have had her on in only 13 shows a season or the way they featured Jenny. Less was more because when she came on she tended to dominate for some reason. She wasn't like Mr Bentley who would come in do his bit and then leave.
